Are you a fan of older and vintage films with a VHS player that works?  If so, stop by the library to browse through our bargain sale movie bins.  Some titles are gently viewed donations from private collections, some are pulled from the library's collection—fifty cents a title, a dozen for $5, buy even more and we’ll throw in a bag of microwave popcorn!

The Princeton Public Library inherited fifty-plus dining room chairs from the Country Cafe.  They've sat around for awhile, but are about to return to active duty as part of fund raising efforts for the Princeton Public Library's future expansion.  Mary Pulvermacher, a summer library volunteer, has been busy "workin' at the chair wash," getting them ready for local artists and crafts people to turn them into chairs of art for the library's Art Chair-ity fundraiser.  If you paint, carve, mosaic, decoupage, weave, quilt, sculpt...please stop by the library to pick up a chair or

It didn't matter whether or not she could stand the heat, Judy Harris, didn't get out of the kitchen!  Harris, along with fifteen other Princeton Library Friends and volunteers, spent last Saturday grilling and serving brats, burgers, and beverages to hungry and thirsty Princeton Flea Market shoppers.  Special thanks to Jim and Louise Urmanski who co-chaired this important fundraiser for the Friends.  Please mark your calendars for the Friends rummage and bake sale during Princeton's Crazy Days on Saturday, August 13; their general meeting and fundraiser planning session Wedn
