April is Princeton Library Friends Month

PROCLAMATION

Whereas, the Friends of the Princeton Library raise money that enables our library to provide additional resources to support special collections, additional programming and special events throughout the year;

Whereas, the work of the Friends highlights on an on-going basis the fact that our library is the cornerstone the community in providing opportunities for life-long learning and intellectual growth by connecting library patrons with the thoughts, ideas, and intellectual contributions of others from ages past to the present;

Whereas, the Friends understand the critical importance of a well funded library and work to ensure that our library gets the resources it needs to provide a wide variety of services for all age groups, including access to print and electronic materials, along with expert assistance

Princeton Library's pre-Civil War Quilt on Display @ WI Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts

The pre-Civil War signature quilt donated to the library for fundraising purposes is once again on display at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts in Cedarburg, WI. It will be one of the quilts featured in a lecture-luncheon Saturday, January 26. A limited number are tickets are available (must be ordered no later than Sunday, January 20).
