Hometown Holidays & the Library Friends Cookie Walk & Fundraisers
Princeton's Hometown Holidays was celebrated Saturday, December 10. The Library Friends took part in this tradition-rich event with their annual cookie walk. For those of you sadly unfamiliar with this delicious fundraiser, a cookie walk is an opportunity to lay in a supply of homemade goodies that will keep even the hungriest of cookie monsters very happy—without messing up your kitchen! This year’s cookie walk was held at the Bull Moose Mercantile at 514 West Water Street from 10 – 3. Saturday was the official kick-off for the 2012 Library Commemorative Mug Design Contest. Information about this opportunity for artistic folks from 4K through senior citizens is also available at the library! Special thanks to Kathy Kohlman for submitting these photos!
