This 9-piece star was designed by Julie Buchholtz to be the signature block pattern for the Quilt That Built a Library.  You're invited to download, use, and share freely.  Pattern & directions
This lovely quilt is a signature quilt made in Massachusetts in 1844.  It was donated to the library by Ruby Keller, a long-time volunteer and former Library Friends president, to be the grand prize for a raffle (drawing to be held Friday, March 15, 2013--need not be present to win).  Dimensions:  T-shaped, 105 wide x 108 inches long. You can buy raffle tickets at the library and at these other sites:  American Bank, Johnny Crow’s Antiques,  Pastimes Books & Gifts, and Twister.  Raffle prices are 1 for a dollar, 6 for $5, and 25 for $20.  All raffle proceeds will be directed to the library’s building fund.
