Library Friends Meeting

November 7, 2012 - 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Agenda: Planning and updates for their next major fundraiser, Christmas in Princeton, Friday, November 23 and the Cookie Walk, Saturday, December 8. By the way, the Friends are always looking for new Friends! It’s easy (and inexpensive) to become a Princeton Library Friends member. You can also support them by volunteering at any of their fundraisers, by donating items for their upcoming silent auction or cash ‘n’ carry sale, or baking for the Cookie Walk. You can also help out by purchasing items from their current fundraisers: postcards bearing vintage Princeton scenes, commemorative mugs with designs on by local school children and other artists, and organic chocolate sales. The Friends also actively promote the Quilt That Built a Library (a benefit for the library’s building fun and Project Linus) and a raffle ticket sale for a pre-Civil War quilt that was donated to the library for fundraising by Ruby Keller, long-time volunteer and Library Friends member.
