Join us every month for a snack and a chat! Formerly, this was Potluck book club, but because of the virus, we are not sharing food at this time, so just bring your own snack.
New members always welcome. Each month features a new book to discuss. We will have some available at the library for you to check out.
This month, we're reading "Shanghai Girls" by Lisa See. The book centers on the complex relationship between two sisters, Pearl and May, as they go through great pain and suffering in leaving war-torn Shanghai, and try to adjust to the difficult roles of wives in arranged marriages and of Chinese immigrants to the U.S.
