No matter where you are in life, we have something that can help you get a better job, get a raise in your current job, or just stay sharp.
Of course, we have lots of books with step-by-step guides to learning new skills, starting a business, studying for tests, etc. However, we also have some excellent online resources:
Our library system offers many different online classes via Gale Courses (text-based online classes) and Gale Udemy (classes with videos and Discord discussion forums).
Learn Quickbooks, Photoshop, conversational French or Spanish, get a certificate in Hospital Laboratory Tech, take a class on how to teach math to grade 4-6, earn continuing education credits for your field, and so much more!
We also offer Test Prep Review, which has free practice tests for the GED, ACT, SAT, Praxis, LSAT, MCAT, NCLEX, ASVAB, and more.
Are you a parent or teacher interested in educational tools?
Ask us about TeachingBooks, coding/robot kits, Kanopy Kids, Education Source, and other great resources- see a full list HERE.
Apply for a Teacher Card!
Teachers and home school parents can get special Teacher library cards. These are fine free, meaning that as long as you return items at some point, you won't be charged late fees. You will also get extended due dates on books- four-weeks (instead of the normal 2-3 weeks) and longer if you would like (just ask). Items checked out on teacher cards do need to be school-related (so no Disney DVDs or romance novels, hah ha). Sometimes teachers ask me if they can give library books to their students. Yes, but you're responsible for items checked out on your card, so I encourage you to have students get their own cards to check out items. Library cards of all kinds are free!
Did you know you can also check out educational toys/kits, board games, and puzzles at the library?

Everyone is invited to our Back to School night at the library on Monday September 23rd at 6pm. We'll give a tour of the library, serve snacks, and talk about all the different resources we have to offer teachers, students, and parents.
