From February 18th through March 25th, we will have a watercolor class for adults every Wednesday 3-5pm.
Adults at all skill levels are welcome at this fun, hour-long program. Each week we will complete a different project, slowly building our skills. However, anyone can drop in during any week and should face no difficulty in completing a project. This class is ultimately focused on having a good time and relaxing time, getting some mental health first aid tips, and enjoying the process, NOT the end product. No RSVP is required, there is no fee, and all supplies are provided.
Wed. Feb. 18th, 3pm: Dandelion Colors
A few lines with a sharpie, some dabs of water, and a little color- that's all it takes to make a poofy dandelion perfect for wishing on. Inspired by elementary teacher and artist Andrea Nelson. This is the easiest project ever- but don't worry, you can make several if you want.
Wed. Feb. 25th, 3pm: Jellyfish
These ethereal underwater creatures look gorgeous- and it's so easy to do. Learn about how using white gel pens and sprinkling salt on your project can create neat effects. This project is designed to be stress-relieving.
Wed. March 4th, 3pm: Lilly pads. Learn about composition, and make a perfectly pretty pond scene.
Wed. March 11th, 3pm: Winter Birch Trees
Learn about dry brushing, and foreground vs background.
Don't worry, no skill is required here- just masking tape!
