Christmas in Princeton

Family Activities at the Library Fri. Nov. 29th, 4-6pm
Stop down at the library for lots of fun!
Watch a holiday movie, have a snack, play games, and do a craft. It's all free! Movie: The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (rated PG)Crafts: Painting wooden ornaments and decorating foam gingerbread men, snowflakes and angels.
Snacks: Chips, popcorn, milk and cookies, apple slices with caramel dip.
Games will include giant Bananagrams, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, and reindeer antler ring toss.
Santa at the Museum Fri. Nov. 29th, 3:30-5:30pm
Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Princeton Historical Society's Folklore Museum, 630 W. Water St. Princeton.
There is no fee, but donations for the upkeep of the museum are welcome.Lights on Water Street Parade Fri. Nov. 29th, 6pm
Floats from local organizations and businesses will travel east from the National Exchange Bank, down Water Street, right past the library! This year's theme is "Candy Land." Some organizations will give out candy.
Our Friends of the Library volunteers will be marching in the parade and handing out candy canes with bookmarks.
The Chamber of Commerce offers cash prizes for the best floats. Mark Judas will be announcing each float across the street from the library.
Children's Book Giveaway and Post-Parade Fun Fri. Nov. 29th, 6:30pm-?
After the parade, come back in for the Friends of the Library children's book giveaway! Every kid can take a book home to keep. The Chamber of Commerce will be serving cookies and hot cocoa outside of the library. Across the street from the library, the Fire Department will put on a tree lighting ceremony, and there will be caroling.
Saturday & Sunday Activities
The Chamber of Commerce's Holiday Bounty Craft Fair will take place in Princeton's public school gyms on Saturday Nov. 30th from 9am-3pm. The Princeton Historical Society will be serving food here all day.

See a miniature Christmas village, bid on presents at the Silent Auction, and get some treats at the Holiday Bake Sale and Second-Hand Item Sale.Look for craft fairs all over town this weekend!
