We will be reading Corrine Ten Boom's World War II classic memoir The Hiding Place for May's General Book Club. Boom and her family helped many Jewish families escape from Nazi Germany to their home in the Netherlands before they themselves were captured. Boom was the only one of her family members to survive the concentration camps and this memoir details her life there and her faith in God that helped her survive.
Princeton Public Library's General Book Club meets at 5:30 the first Tuesday of each month. The discussion is accompanied by a potluck dinner. Books are available at the circulation desk and all are welcome to attend.
