Princeton's 175th

Princeton's 175th Anniversary Celebration is July 20-23, 2023
You're invited!

Thursday July 20th:

Children's Parade
From 3:30-5pm, kids and their families can come to the Princeton Public Library to decorate themselves and their bikes, scooters, strollers, skateboards, wagons, and pets for Princeton's 175th Anniversary Children's Parade. We will offer face painting as well as free decoration materials like streamers, ribbons, balloons, and a small American flag for every child.
Parade lineup is 5:15pm at the National Exchange Bank, and the parade actually starts at 5:30pm. The parade will go down Water Street, back to the library. After the parade is over, we will distribute popsicles and snacks, and have outdoor games (giant bowling, giant Jenga, giant checkers, cornhole, ladder toss, Yard Yahtzee, sidewalk chalk, and bubbles).

Friday July 21st:

Copperbox band: live music 6-9pm at City Park (aka the flea market park, 101 Wisconsin St, Princeton). Come out and see one of Oshkosh's best bands! Their mix of polka, rock, blues, and more is sure to delight all ages. Bring a lawn chair.

Saturday July 22nd:

Flea Market at City Park 7am-1pm
Did you know that our flea market started as the Princeton Cattle Fair back in the mid 1800s? Instead of cattle, we now have fresh-baked goods, flowers, plants, antiques, toys, hot food vendors, crafts, jewelry, and more.

Taste of Princeton Noon - ?
After the flea market, take a trip downtown and sample the best of our city's bars and restaurants, as well as some great sales.

Kids Zone 4-8pm
West Water Street will be closed off for the festivities, and a portion of this area will feature activities for children. Drop off the kids and let them enjoy games, a bounce-house, facepainting, and more.

Road Trip (band) 7-10:30pm
They are much more than your average cover band from Wisconsin. Lights, video, sounds, smoke, dancing and screaming fans create one of the greatest shows in the Midwest! Come early and stay late. Featuring songs by Pink, Chris Stapleton, Joan Jett, Motley Crue, The Romantics, Carrie Underwood, Kid Rock, Maroon 5, Ozzy, Keith Urban, KISS, and others.

Sunday July 23rd:
